5.3.12

hello there,
I hope you had a good weekend, my mom and I have been busy and we are working like a well oiled machine, my bins for the spring craft show is starting to fill up, and I even had time on the weekend to shoot a new screen for my ceramic decals. I can't wait to show you when they are all done. the kids had fun visiting with family and playing with cousins. I am amazed these days at piper's vocabulary, she says "actually" a lot and it's quite cute. we were also told last week by lliam's teacher that his reading level is quite advance - he's such a smart boy, he asked if we thought he was ready for books without pictures. I asked him "don't you think you will still want to see the pictures that go with the story?" and he said "when I read the words, the pictures appear in my head". how can this kid be 5 yrs old.

I was recently asked by a customer to make the bag in the first photo, I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but when she described what she wanted, I thought it sounded nice, I rarely take on custom work, not that I don't want to do it, I just don't have the time. I'm happy I did this one, it has inspired me to make more that are similar. will keep you posted when they are available in the shop - the strap snaps off so it can be used as a clutch.

when I have a new print I have to try it on all the different products I do, so the leaves print is available on the oblong pouch and storage box. I have made the oblong pouches a bit taller and I think it's such a perfect size.

off to do more cutting and printing....happy monday! xxa

  3. Your kids are awesome! Little P reminds me of Israel when he was her age, instead of replying with a simple yes he's always say "certainly" ;-)
Love the new leaves prints...must add it to my Bookhou collection of storage boxes.
