it's always a pleasure to see margie - today she dropped off her ornaments - margie puts so much care and attention to the items she makes - I love the fabric pine cone made with indigo - I think I will have to keep it for myself. I also love the digital printed and embroidered thimble ones - they are a lot bigger than they look in the pictures. also tonight john and I are busy cutting all the decals for the ceramics that we printed yesterday. they should be completed by tomorrow for their firing - just in time for the ooak show.
p.s. on a side note - I get a lot of margie's readers too and when I was in vancouver - I had lots of people approach me and asked about margie and asked how she is in person - in case you were wondering too - I can assure you that margie is every bit wonderful and more in person, and her home and surroundings is very inspiring. I am truly blessed to have her as a friend as well as other great friends I met via the internet.

  2. This post made me smile. My world is a better place for knowing both of you in different ways--you through your wonderful blog and having met you twice, Margie through the lovely ongoing 'conversation' we have had commenting on each other's our blogs.
You are both a source of gentle, positive, creative energy to me.

I'm adding my voice to say how much extraordinary Margie in everything she is & does & makes. She is one of a kind, just like you are, Arounna. I was blessed to meet you, Margie, Nicole, Geninne & Barbara in person last summer. It was the highlight of 2011 for me.

  7. Margie is a rare gem. A reversible human, every bit as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside and I love her so. We are so blessed to call her a friend. Love the ornaments!
