okay so it wasn't that bad - I was a bit transfixed with all the little settings and didn't take photos of the amazing looking trains going over bridges and through tunnels - we all had a great time.
your photos remind me of the tilt shift photos of Toni Hafkenscheild. Glad you missed your Ryerson interview anyway, it seems to have worked out for you.
Right after my third child was born, our first boy, he got very sick and had to be hospitalized. I went with him into the hopital for the week he was in there, and so was away from my daughters that whole time. They'd come to see us at the hospital, excited because there was a train set just like this one. Seeing these pictures reminded me of that so palpably -- the worry about my son, mixed with the joy of seeing my other kids so happy at seeing a mini-train world. These are beautiful shots. Thank you!
