I finally had some time to run errands today, getting supplies for my booth display and also getting my leather cut and skived.  next sunday I will be having a sale at the shop of all the leather remnants from a friends studio.  they will be sold by weight and priced to go, you must come and get some, the red piece was one of his remnants that I had to leave his studio with, I've never seen a vegetable tanned leather in such a pretty red tone (j thinks the photo looks like a mini richard serra sculpture).  there's enough to make four little card holders.  I'm really excited to have these launch at the ooak show.

inbetween sewing yeterday I was looking at news reports of the storm and looking at instagram photos, yikes what a scary storm, all my best to folks in the northeast - please stay safe.
