I'm really excited about the etsy meet-up happening on friday, it's going to be video taped- so those of you who can't make it will see bits of it on the etsy site. I'll let you know when it's available.

I wanted to show you a few things I got at the junction flea, this pretty little plate in the most perfect condition and this awesome bag that I think was a mail bag? not sure - a part of me knows it's crazy to think of cutting it to make a different sort of bag, I love it so much the way it is, it will probably stay intact. another item I got was a wonderful wood ladder that I will use for outdoor craft show displays. I can't wait till the next flea!

  1. That bag is utter perfection just the way it is! I love it!
Can't wait to hear when the next flea market is - I had to miss this one and am still kicking myself. Your finds are awesome, though!

  2. I hope to come to the next junction flea! And I have the same plate! I've been looking for a holder for it to hang it on the wall but I can't find one that small! Let me know if you have any ideas!

  3. or maybe an army bag to carry bedding or such
i love it just the way it is , especially that closure:)

  4. i think that is a mail bag, too. we once had one very similar but with a more modern clasp. it did say US MAIL in big letters...you could always scan the stencil and recreate it on your own bags.

  5. If you would like to sell this bag....... just mail me :-)
Loving your blog. I check it out a couple of times a week.

  6. wow great i have read many articles about this topic and every time i learn something new so i appreciate your work...
Thanks for all of your hard work!
