hello friends,
the rainstorm we had yesterday sure cool things down - how refreshing. here are some highlights from the workshop - geninne has some lovely pictures on her twitter page. it was a fun day filled with creativity. I enjoyed the energy in the room - thanks to everyone who participated in the workshop and a big thank you to geninne for making her way from mexico (in case you were wondering - yes - she is amazing in person - she exudes so much passion and love for her art)
last night I worked late into the evening to get orders out for monday. I will take a day off to spend with 4 lovely ladies to do some natural dyeing - I love these get togethers. so much to share and such little time. there are cruel things happening in other parts of the world - a little kindness goes a long way.
enjoy your day! xxa

  5. I look forward to your posts every morning! I do lots of block and screen printing, and am just starting to research how to use natural dyes (I want to dip dye yarns for my knits). Every post is so interesting and relevant to where I am at in my studio these days!

  6. It was a beautiful day. I'm still riding a wave of lovely creative energy that came from it. The natural light in Arounna's shop was beautiful and it was enhanced I think by the light coming from each of us--happy to be in the presence of Arounna and friends' elegant creations and thrilled to be in the warm and inspiring company of our teacher Geninne.
