As an aspiring textile artist/entrepreneur I come back to your blog every day and am just in awe of how much you accomplish, your creativity and the gorgeous simplicity inherent in everything that you do. Thanks also to your blog I have been introduced to natural dyeing and I am excited to get my garden going this Spring and start experimenting with colours. ReplyDeleteI think the magazine is great - its' simplicity and elegance matches perfectly with your journal, and you continue with your beautiful,simple photographs which ties the website and magazine together so nicely.
I love that you've included a 'how to' section too. One of my favourite things about your journal is that you are so generous with your imagery - sharing photos of works-in-progress is not something every artist does, but as an artist myself, I find it so helpful to see others' techniques.
All in all, I think your hard work is so evident and I look forward to the next edition. Bravo!

After looking through it once, it drew me back to the beginning with interest--giving me a nice, pleasurable feeling like you get when looking throught a catalog received in the post. I slowly viewed each page as a whole, then examined each photo and its copy. It is truly a beautiful creation and I will enjoy flipping through it again and again. Great job Arounna!
