hello friends,
I hope your weekend was full of rest, creativity and productivity.
I tried my best to get some extra sleep, but it didn't happen - it's okay, I'm feeling good. mornings are tough, I'm not a coffee drinker and it takes a couple minutes of face washing to get the gears going. we had a strange weather weekend - last night as I sat by the hum of my industrial machine I saw the heavy rain turn into large snowflakes. there was a calm and beauty to it that is hard to describe - you had to experience it in person. I finished some large projects over the weekend and now chipping away and the big project that I am super excited to share with you later in the week. I will also be having a giveaway this week - a giveaway that I'm sure won't disappoint. I took this picture of lliam yesterday as it suddenly hit me that next month he will be turning five. my sweet lliam where did the time go. I know this may sound a bit corny, but when it's all said and done ll and p are the best things I ever made. they bring so much joy and (chaos) to our lives and it makes staying up till 2am sewing all the sweeter.
enjoy your day my dear friends - I will see you back tomorrow. xxa

  5. What a pensive and beautiful moment to capture your son. Happy Birthday Liam (soon). My son also turns 5 this year and it leaves me amazed how quick the days go.

Thank you for being so creative and honest in your words, images and objects.

  7. You were wondering the other day who all your readers are. I go first to your blog, then to Paper Place. I think that it is because I know you both, because you share your life and your art without pretention. And then there are also the heart-stopping pics of your kids. Who wouldn't respond? And keep coming back for more. Treasure every chaotic moment because it flies by a warp speed. My beloved daughter, age 30 now, just got married and it seems like it was only yesterday that I was watching as she grew into consciousness. Best to you all, V.

  8. your children look so darn cute, Arounna :) and yes, they do grow up so fast. My last babe is already 6 and a half & is SO not a baby anymore, sigh. Please kiss those cheeks for me, and have a great week, my friend.
