some of you might know that the AGO gallery school closed for two years to renovate. It was not part of the original Gehry renos. Unfortunately some of my good friends who worked there more frequently lost their jobs. I will be there for one session of summer camp - being held at OCAD. Last week they were having a big sale of things that had to go. Among a bunch of things we purchased from the school was two adorable kid chairs for $2 each. I also got a great swivel chair that I will reupholster. I finished cutting and sewing the last bit of felt for the rust felt coasters - after this lot is sold it will not be restocked. I started making them as a way of getting rid of remnants and a year later they are one of the most popular coaster colours. On the back I sew a grey felt making them reversible.

  2. I love the color combination of these coasters - rust and metal - very industrial, but yet they are so cozy...
