yesterday I mentioned, I spent part of my day at harbourfront centre doing advising duties, I have been doing this for about three years now and I use to be a resident myself, I think that the harbourfront craft studios is one of those gems of a place in toronto that not a lot of people know of - they provide studio spaces for textiles, glass, ceramics and jewellery - the studios are well equipped and the rent to be in the studios is next to nothing and the residency program is renewable up to three years. I found being in the space invaluable in so many ways. here are some images of the current textile residents
- lizz aston
- stephanie fortin (coeur de lion textiles) she will also be at the spring craft show
- jen kneulman (freshly printed)
- shuyu lu
Wow, there are some talented people in TO. Thanks for showing us.
