it's always a pleasure to see margie - today she dropped off her ornaments - margie puts so much care and attention to the items she makes - I love the fabric pine cone made with indigo - I think I will have to keep it for myself. I also love the digital printed and embroidered thimble ones - they are a lot bigger than they look in the pictures. also tonight john and I are busy cutting all the decals for the ceramics that we printed yesterday. they should be completed by tomorrow for their firing - just in time for the ooak show.
p.s. on a side note - I get a lot of margie's readers too and when I was in vancouver - I had lots of people approach me and asked about margie and asked how she is in person - in case you were wondering too - I can assure you that margie is every bit wonderful and more in person, and her home and surroundings is very inspiring. I am truly blessed to have her as a friend as well as other great friends I met via the internet.

  1. I couldn't agree with you more about Margie. She is such a beautiful, talented, inspiring lady, and a wonderful friend.

  2. This post made me smile. My world is a better place for knowing both of you in different ways--you through your wonderful blog and having met you twice, Margie through the lovely ongoing 'conversation' we have had commenting on each other's our blogs.
You are both a source of gentle, positive, creative energy to me.

  3. i am in love with those little pinecones, and the printed ornaments too. one day i would love to make it to bookhou in person to see all the wonderfulness you have there. maybe then i'll get to meet both you and margie too!

  4. tu nous présentes les belles créations d'une personne qui semble tout aussi belle. ça donne envie!

  5. the ornaments Margie made are so extra special for sure ♥ They'll be such a hit !
I'm adding my voice to say how much extraordinary Margie in everything she is & does & makes. She is one of a kind, just like you are, Arounna. I was blessed to meet you, Margie, Nicole, Geninne & Barbara in person last summer. It was the highlight of 2011 for me.
oxox I keep Piper in my thoughts too

  6. i am very blessed to have you as a friend arounna
their are few people in the world that would be able to be woken up with a knock on the door early sunday morning and still be able to put a genuine smile on her face.

  7. Margie is a rare gem. A reversible human, every bit as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside and I love her so. We are so blessed to call her a friend. Love the ornaments!
