later this afternoon I will be heading to the Gladstone Hotel for an awards ceremony held by the Ontario Crafts Council - I will be receiving the Mary Diamond Butts Scholarship in Embroidery and Needlecraft for my embroidered sculptural work. I went to a preview opening last night - you should go check out the OCC Gallery to see all the beautiful work. above is an image of a work in progress.

    I also wanted to tell you I spotted some of your pieces at ChellisWilson last weekend and they looked so warmly familiar, as i have the same ones in my home. So happy to find you there!
