the past few days has been quite a juggling act, but things are falling into place - I kept saying to myself, don't sweat the small stuff. we have the shop filled and stocked and the new ceramics is out, john's new table is out and we are ready to go. so if you're in toronto come visit the DO DESIGN event along dundas west, we will have our opening reception on saturday from 4-7pm we will have tea and cupcakes - I hope you can join us. I am only showing you a peek of some of the plates, but there are tumblers and vases in the show, I showed a sneak peek on fb, thanks for all the wonderful words and the positive response, I will have them in the online shop soon. yesterday my dad left and before he left, he took me aside and said
"you and john work really hard, don't forget to enjoy yourself - life is too short" - thanks dad, we will try our best!
amazing, arounna! both your works, and your dad's words.

ReplyDeletei love that rabbit plate - all your ceramics look so great. good luck this weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'll have to make a special trip to the west side before all those ceramics sell out! Well done.
ReplyDeleteI love your stuff. John's table is fantastic! Your dad is so very right. No one ever got to the end of their life and said "Oh, if I had only had time to wash one more dish, make one more bag, etc." Balance is the key. With hugs from Alaska.
