ReplyDeleteThis weekend we'll be staying at home. drink some tee, take a walk to the park. With my round pregnant belly i will have conversations and sing all the songs that I like. I think my little daughter will enjoy singing too for her tiny brother. Sometimes it's hard to enjoy being a mother , sometimes it's heaven! I think this weekend will be all about being a family and enjoying it.

ReplyDeleteI am happy to be welcoming my husband home this weekend. He has been in Toronto for 6 weeks and boy have we all been missing him! We'll be doing lots of beach visits and eating comfort foods, and just hanging out together I imagine. Maybe the kids will even let us sleep in a little! Then we are off on an island adventure for the last week before school begins.

ReplyDeleteI will try to rest this weekend. It was really difficult week /my older son got back to school (5 year), and the younger (10month) starts kindergarden (3 days a week) ...I feel sad and happy in the same time ;-)

I have a tiny stuffed bird pin from many years ago at the Cabbagetown festival, a plexi bird pin from a sale at the workroom ( a gift ) and a little bird embroidered on a pin... Summer has been full of museum trips for our family, this weekend we are at the Getty museum and then on to Royal/T Cafe/Art Space in L.A.

Birds are my favorites always, and your kids did a great job modeling them for you :) Here in the south half of the earth we are closing winter, but in practice i can see that spring has already arrived with a month in advance, so we are enjoying mild days, some rain after a long dry season, and it's been great.Thanks for the great giveaway :)
