john had an old tweed blazer that he no longer wanted - so as an experiment - I removed the lining - (I didn't realize the amount of work that goes into the lining of a blazer) - I wanted to re-design it to fit me - I put it on inside out and my brother help me pin it. I will show you the final results later. It's turning out to be a bit of a challenge - but I think I can make it work.

  6. Isn't it wonderful, the craftsmanship in something like that. I unpick vintage Kimonos to use the fabric (for bags and cushions and other little things), and while it's time consuming and hard to do, it's also amazing to see the work that went into making the piece in the first place.
Can't wait to see the finished coat.
