I made some changes to my snap wallet design many times since I first made it 8 years ago, some changes involved doing fewer pieces to make sewing faster - a snap rather than button closure and a zipper pocket. I also made it a bit shorter to make it easier to access your credit cards. oh my, I have been coveting these beautiful wallets since I first discovered your blog a few months ago. My favourite patterns are the grey lines and the red flowers.

Can't be too choosy with bookhou, as I love everything, but if I had to choose I think the red print would look great with my bookhou triangle tote (which I totally love!). You have the most generous giveaways.
ReplyDeleteThey are all incredibly pretty. But I think my favourite would have to be the red one. I like about them how simple the overall design is, it gives them a very clean and classy look. And the fabric is what then turns this look from just classy and clean into something more comfortable. It's not just a wallet, it represents a piece of a welcoming home, where I imagine similar fabrics here and there. I like that.

Such a good, and necessary, thing to streamline the sewing process by removing extra pieces and buttons, etc. I was just talking with a friend about this exact thing today.
