I think some times if my family didn't tug at me to get outside - I would probably be by my sewing machine all day. after we close up shop on sunday - we went to john's parents house for dinner. the drive on the highway reminded me that fall is here and beryl had these wonderful gourds on the dining room table.

I also spotted this sweet triangle patterned
Pysanka egg that john made when he was 16 years old. He won a contest from a model he built - and along with other kids from Ontario went on a bus trip across Canada - john learned how to make this Pysanka egg in a Ukrainian settlement near Winnipeg.
