we were invited by our friend Shao to come listen to an artist talk at his beautiful studio in the Distillery District. We were really taken by Daan Brouwer's work - a silversmith originally from the Netherlands - so intricate and beautifully executed. It was nice to be around adults and feel that you still have a bit of a social life.
